Which barcode type should I use?
Use EAN-13 or UPC-A for retail products, CODE128 for shipping and logistics, CODE39 for internal inventory or asset tags, ITF-14 for cartons, and Codabar or MSI for libraries and warehousing.
Why does the tool add or adjust a digit on EAN/UPC codes?
EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E and ITF-14 all end with a check digit used to detect scanning errors. If you enter the code without it, the tool calculates and appends the correct check digit automatically.
Can I generate multiple barcodes at once?
